I hope the New Year is going well for everyone. We’re getting some well organised brides ordering their favours for Easter weddings. We think Easter is a beautiful time of year to get married and there are so many options for your wedding favours. Spring colours are beautiful, whether it be spring coloured boxes or mini pails, to the ribbon used to tie your boxes, all will make beautiful additions to your wedding table. Mini pails filled with mini eggs make for the most beautiful wedding favour and your guests are sure to appeciate them. Check our our wonderful selection on the site and do let us know what you think.
If you’re having an Easter themed wedding do let us know what you are planning.

Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had a wonderful break over Christmas. Did you get round to doing all the wedding planning you had hoped? I was ill over Christmas so didn’t get round to doing any of what I had intended. I’ve got a big list for the New Year though and will be keeping you up to date with all things wedding related throughout 2011. There will no doubt be lots of wedding chatter this year with two royal weddings in the pipeline. What sort of wedding favours do you think they will choose? We think they will be very traditional, something beautiful in a pretty box perhaps – see attached picture. What do you think?
We have been making lots of new years resolutions in the office this morning. Have you decided on yours yet?

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year celebrations this evening.
Have any of you been to any festive weddings over the last few weeks? We went to one a couple of days after Christmas which was really magical. There was still a lot of snow on the ground which made it a little tricky getting there but it was worth it for the beautiful sparkling day and fantastic pictures. They had gone to a lot of trouble to make it a really festive occasion with mulled wine, log fires and a beautiful atmosphere. We even had roast turkey for the wedding breakfast.
I’ve included a picture of the wedding favours that they used for their table decorations. They really did look beautiful and add to the atmosphere.
Enjoy your New Years eve – it’s back to reality next week!

We’re signing off now until after Christmas. Emails will be checked and responded to over the Christas period but orders won’t be shipped until the week of January 4th.
Just a quick reminder to keep checking the blog for new product updates. We have a lot in the pipeline for 2011 and will be reviewing all new products on the blog as and when we add them to the site. We have added photographs of a couple of the products to be launched in 2011 to give you a sneak peak. These will be available towards the end of January if you want to order them.
Everyone at Verbena wishes you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We look forward to reading all your comments in the New Year.

Nowadays guests spend a lot of money on being a guest at a wedding and it is really important to thank them properly for their support. Wedding thank you cards are the perfect way to do this, whether they match your other wedding stationery, or you upload a picture of your wedding ceremony to decorate your cards, they are sure to be appreciated by your guests and be the real finishing touch to your wedding day. Handwriting your wedding thank you card makes them much more personal, at Verbena we sell all our thank you cards blank to enable you to write a personal message. Have a look at our great range and as always, do let us know what you think.
We would really advise you to order your thank you cards with your other stationery, before your wedding day. If you leave this till after your honeymoon there will be a big delay in getting them sent to people which will detract from their poignancy.
