Have you all started your Christmas shopping yet? Nobody has started here but everybody has good intentions of getting online soon and getting the list started. I love Christmas, especially the run up and preperations. It’s nice when our customers share in the excitement and there is always a nice feeling when we know we have helped a bride pick some gorgeous favours for her Christmas wedding that will look stunning. There are some clear winners for Christmas weddings. Anyting sparkly or with snowflakes are great choices and really add to the wintery atmosphere. Or use crackers to hold your wedding favours for a real Christmas feel. Just as we were in the process of putting our Summer clothes to the back of the wardrobe, along comes a heat wave. Just as brides are starting to need a shrug or slightly warmer dress and the Autumn favors are flying out of the door, we are hit by this blip in the weather. This unexpected warm weather will be a blessing for brides who feared freezing in a short sleeved dress on their big day. But, those who had planned an Autumn theme might suddenly be stuck knowing what wedding favors to buy. We recommend going for something neutral that doesn’t reflect the seasons, perhaps crystal wedding favours or glass wedding favours are most appropriate at this time of unseasonal weather.

I can’t believe that September has arrived and there is already a chill in the air. We are hearing about some lovely Autumn weddings happening this year. I think this is a great time to have a wedding with all the lovely colours that Autumn brings. This is the time of year for harvest festivals and with local produce in abundance there is huge potential for a fabulous feast at your wedding breakfast.
