One of the invitations services that we offer is to add your own photo to your wedding invitations. With all these beautiful snowy landscapes around at the moment we thought it would be a great idea to get some gorgeous snowy shots of the two of you to adourn the front of your wedding invitations. Or just go to one of your favourite places and capture it at its best in the snow. Photographers love taking pictures in the snow so how about asking your wedding photographer to go out with you one afternoon and capture some pre-wedding shots for your invitations. You could also try and capture the church that you’re getting married at sparkling in the snow and have this on the front of your order of service booklets.
We have added some beautiful pictures to the add your own photo range but thought this weather it would be great to encourage some of you to get out there and snap some lovely shots.
Even if you don’t want to add them to your wedding invitations do send us some of your shots, we would love to see them.

There are lots of new themes, colours and ideas to set your wedding day off with the wow factor. Purple orchids, calla lilies, monograms, pink butterflies to name but a few. And there is coordinated wedding stationery to match all of the new designs so you can have a matching set.
We’ve also just launched an ‘add your own photo’ range which is proving really popular. Choose a romantic picture of yourselves for your wedding invitation and perhaps one of the church for the order of service and then upload one of your wedding day shots for your thank you cards. We often get asked about planning a beach wedding so we havve written some advice for those of you getting married abroad. Don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any queries about planning your beach wedding. We have a beautiful selection of wedding favours and beach wedding invitations to inspire you.
There is a real trend for couples getting married abroad and beach weddings remain one of the most popular locations. Beach weddings are truly romantic but take some careful planning. Take inspiration from our ideas below and get planning yours.
Take lots of advice from local residents. Timing is really important when getting married on the beach, getting married early in the morning should ensure that the beach isn’t crowded but will the sun be in the right place for photographs and where will the tide be? If you are getting married abroad these are things that your wedding co-ordinator should be able to help you with.
Consider carefully your wedding attire. Beach weddings often take place when it is very hot. Make sure your wedding dress is made of a cool, floaty fabric of chiffon or silk. And perhaps the groom could wear a linen suit to keep slightly cooler. Sand can get extremely hot so test it out before you decide to go barefoot or you could be hoping around during the ceremony!
Set the scene for your guests early on with beautiful beach wedding invitations. Make sure your guests know your wedding location well in advance so they can make travel arrangements. Beach weddings are often less formal than church weddings so make sure you specify on the invitations whether you want guests to dress formally.

If you are lucky enough to have a wedding co-ordinator, make sure you use her contacts wisely. If they are recommending a photographer be sure to look at photographs they have taken on the same beach. Beach weddings can be tricky to photograph so you want to make sure that you have chosen the best photographer possible.
You may be asking your guests to travel a long way to your desired beach so make sure to thank them properly. Wedding favours are a great way to do this and there are plenty to chose from to fit with your beach theme. We love the flip flop place card holders that look great on your tables and guests can take them home to display their photos. Most wedding favour companies offer a service to ship your favours directly to your venue which will save significantly on your luggage allowance.

Beach weddings can be wonderful occasions but take some careful planning. Take plenty of advice and you are sure to have a fabulous day.
