These beautiful chocolate brown boxes have been reduced to just £20 for a box of 200!

I hope you are all prepared for Christmas and all the Christmas presents have been purchased. We did much of ours online this year and everything has now been delivered. Just lots of wrapping to do this weekend. That’s the fun bit though – I love getting creative with wrapping, ribbons and decorations. Have you all got your trees decorated?

We often find the week between Christmas and New Year to be the time when couples have chance to sit down together and tick some boxes on their wedding list. We will be around up until Christmas eve for any queries that you have before Christmas. We will take a few days break between Christmas and New Year, the office will be closed 26th, 27th and 30th December. We will be open on the 28th and 29th of December so do give us a call if you’re planning your wedding and we will do our best to help with any of your wedding favour or stationery queries.

Opening hours are back to normal on the 3rd January.

Have  you all started your Christmas shopping yet? Nobody has started here but everybody has good intentions of getting online soon and getting the list started. I love Christmas, especially the run up and preperations. It’s nice when our customers share in the excitement and there is always a nice feeling when we know we have helped a bride pick some gorgeous favours for her Christmas wedding that will look stunning. There are some clear winners for Christmas weddings. Anyting sparkly or with snowflakes are great choices and really add to the wintery atmosphere. Or use crackers to hold your wedding favours for a real Christmas feel. Next week is half term for most of the country. With the weather getting colder, it becomes more and more difficult to entertain children for a whole week. Baking is a great idea for a rainy afternoon and everyone is sure to enjoy the results. Why not get your kids making cupcakes for thier school friends or family members to share their baking goodies. Just as we were in the process of putting our Summer clothes to the back of the wardrobe, along comes a heat wave. Just as brides are starting to need a shrug or slightly warmer dress and the Autumn favors are flying out of the door, we are hit by this blip in the weather. This unexpected warm weather will be a blessing for brides who feared freezing in a short sleeved dress on their big day. But, those who had planned an Autumn theme might suddenly be stuck knowing what wedding favors to buy. We recommend going for something neutral that doesn’t reflect the seasons, perhaps crystal wedding favours or glass wedding favours are most appropriate at this time of unseasonal weather.

I can’t believe that September has arrived and there is already a chill in the air. We are hearing about some lovely Autumn weddings happening this year. I think this is a great time to have a wedding with all the lovely colours that Autumn brings. This is the time of year for harvest festivals and with local produce in abundance there is huge potential for a fabulous feast at your wedding breakfast.

Fans have been such a popular favour at weddings for the last few years, from sandalwood to silk, they are all popular. During the warmer months or for a wedding abroad, they are the perfect favour that is sure to be appreciated by your guests to keep them cool. They also look great as part of your table decorations and can make a great photo if you get everybody to wave them at once.

We have just added a lovely new silk fan with a fabulous damask design. The damask design favours have been really popular so we are hopeful this will be a great addition to the range. The damask design mint tins are a particular favourite.
